I love the feeling of wearing subtle colors in the fall. And even though it's Labor Day, I love to bring on the white! I especially am attracted to the floral in this outfit, and the touches of gold.
I hope to be wearing a similar put-together outfit later this week! But for now, I am gone until Friday on a Southern California volleyball tour, playing 5 games in 3 days. It's going to be a blast, but super busy!

Labor Day Mini Blackberry Pies

This afternoon my mom and I decided to make tiny blackberry tarts with fresh blackberries we picked this morning on a walk. I also love the smell of baking in the kitchen, and this made my day so much sweeter. They are delicious, definitely looking forward to the next time I bake these!
I used this recipe.

This outfit consists of the in-again polka dots. I prefer them in navy, for a softer touch than black gives. Also, the white jacket reminds of the tweed fad, without being too exclusive to the trend. What also has been a popular shoe style are the healed loafers, I found a nude pair from Kate Spade I quite liked. Throw on some simple pearls and a fun bag, and you are ready to go!

Prada iPad Case

The Prada nylon iPad case - ahh. My iPad seems to be quite happy in this zippered case. If you are a combination of tech savvy and fashion conscious like me, I assure you. You will definitely love this case! I have been using it for a few months now, and take it everywhere with me. It's easy to slip in purses and easy to unzip/handle. Comes in a bright red or pretty pink, I chose the bright red and currently love it!
